Since the Adidas Forum Low Price return, we’ve seen the silhouette dressed a number of ways. By collaborators, it’s donned buckles, McDonald’s logo hits, and even teeth; but by the brand, the shoe mostly retains its OG likeness. Here, though, we’re seeing a blend of new and old as the Forum ’84 Hi swaps out its usual materials for a full suede assembly.
Akin to the Adidas Forum Low Sale inaugural style, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in a clean “colorless” base across most of its upper and sole unit. Profile 3-Stripes, trefoil logos, detailing around the collar and lockdown strap hardware deviate from their white surroundings in varying shades of citrus flair. Underfoot, the iconic Adidas Forum Low Women silhouette dons a two-tone designed-for-hoops tooling solution, further making the sneakers a springtime-ready proposition.
RECOUTURE, a Japanese repair shop known well for their resoled sneakers, made an official collaboration with adidas only a few years ago. And now, following a number of Campus 80 colorways, the two are teaming up once again, preparing to release a Adidas Forum Low Men that’s heavier on the patchwork than its predecessor.
